Bring your friends, family and those who love to share the joy of creativity and the art of encaustics (hot wax) and encaustic monoprints. If you dont know exactly what encaustics are, come to explore the process and the beauty of this delicious medium! See details below……if you cant make the opening or the reception, no problem….we will be changing out the work a couple of times through out the 2 months so the exhibit will always be fresh!
You can also see an article about the group and the exhibition in the July Issue of The Laurel of Asheville or listen to a radio interview of myself & the owner of Gallery 310 ART, Fleta Monaghan on Asheville FM this Thursday, June 30th at 7pm during the AFM News Hour! For more information about Asheville Free Media, a volunteer-based, grassroots community radio station see: http://www.ashevillefm.org/
I look forward to sharing my display of encaustic work and seeing you at the studio soon! Desiree ∞
