This eye or vortex appeared during my Weekly Symbols Reading as I was recording for my YouTube channel!
THE EYE OF GOD is a symbol that represents a Divine Watchfulness of the Supreme Being within the entire universe. It is often shown as a single human eye enclosed in a triangle and surrounded by clouds or burst of light. Also known as the ‘All-Seeing Eye‘ and ‘Eye of Providence‘, the symbol has been used since the ancient times to signify the omniscience and omnipresence of the Source or creative power, and the eternal nature of the cosmic forces. You may be familiar with it’s rendition on the US Dollar at the top of the pyramid.
On 2/12/2022 at approximately 33:33 into the reading, the vortex begins to appear just as I am describing the great Sea Lily, (a curio in my collection), that inhabited the earth long ago. I was channeling the teaching of it’s medicine, re: the importance of being grounded and deeply rooted at this time, in order to hold strong during stormy seas! As soon as I noticed the light unfolding before me, my heart opened and I was brought to tears. I find it no accident it was the Valentine’s Day reading (and my father’s birthday: George Valentine DeMars, what a great name!). We know from experiments that light acts as a wave. As such, it can be described as having a frequency and a wavelength. The wavelength of light is the distance between corresponding points in two adjacent light cycles and the frequency. For me this idea of Divine Watchfulness felt like a message of confirmation, that even though there is chaos all around right now, I am on course with my ancestral healing and divination work. LAST MONTH I TITLED THE NEWSLETTER: THE COSMOS IS IN YOU
One can’t help but wonder if the world is indeed being reflected back to us through images and phenomena like these. PSYCHONEUROIMMUNOLOGY
”We know for certain that the brain is able to talk to the immune system and that the immune system is able to talk to the brain. In essence, the hard-wiring connections are there,” said a leading researcher in the field, Nicholas Hall, a psychoneuroimmunologist at the University of South Florida, Tampa.
In fact, emotions, Dr. Candace Pert explains, are not simply chemical in the brain. They are electrochemical signals that carry emotional messages throughout the body. These signals, a mixture of peptides, have far reaching effects. Pert was an internationally recognized neuroscientist and pharmacologist who published over 250 research articles from 1946-2013. She discovered the opiate receptor, the primary molecule found on the surface of body and brain cells, and found a way to measure it, thereby proving its existence and what followed was the field of psychoneuroimmunology.
Last week as I was reviewing a body of work I took a training in many years ago, called Wakeful Dreaming, I ran across an article written by Chicago based writer, Ellen Blum Barrish. The piece is titled Positive Thoughts Often Turn Into Good Medicine, Chicago Tribune, Apr 09, 1989. It’s a great collection of examples of real life experiences people have had in self healing by using intention and imagination. The wisdom and understanding behind Wakeful Dreaming was way ahead of the times. The co-creator, psychoanalyist and holistic pioneer in the human potential movement, Jacqueline Tschetter, is most known for this ground breaking work. For five decades, around the globe, she guided individuals toward their highest potential. Using this healing art she taught thousands how to use their own imaginations to release fears and limits, clearing pathways toward fulfillment of their personal blueprint. Jacqueline transitioned in August of 2021 at the age of 75 in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. I am so grateful to have studied with her. I feel that the connection between my exploration of Wakeful Dreaming has come full circle today to the work I’m doing with Recoding and Ancestral Healing. THE LAST WORD
This brings me to my final thought for March about the idea of full circle and the spiraling cycles or unfolding of everything in the universe. It is simply a prayer to my sweet neighbor and friend, Melissa Chapman who transitioned on 2/22/2022, a few hours after we took an evening walk on a balmy February evening with her two cats. Melissa was also 75 and when we parted just before sunset, the last thing I imagined was that she had completed her journey here on Earth in this lifetime. Before we said goodbye we took a moment to be amazed by the daffodils that had popped up in her front yard and she leaned over to smell them. That was Melissa, an expression of childlike innocence and joy. You will be missed by all you touched my friend! Aho!
