Jon Foreman Land Artist (Sculpt the World) is a creator of amazingly diverse styles of Land Art.
He is ever in search of “different.” Be it with stones or leaves, inland or on beaches. He has even created works in derelict environments using materials such as broken glass or ashes and general debris. The scale of his work varies massively; he may use stones or driftwood to make something small and minimal. Otherwise he may be seen drawing massive scale sand drawings up to 100 meters across. CONSCIOUSNESS vs INTELLIGENCE
I have been exploring a large collection of interviews through a podcast hosted by Lex Fridman. Fridman provides a platform for guests with a wide range of perspectives about the nature of intelligence, consciousness, love, and power. He has been making waves in the tech world for a number of years now due to his wide array of talents. He earned a Ph D from MIT in 2011, and since then has founded two successful ventures – a self-driving car company called nuTonomy, and an AI research lab called LexAI.
With the massive amount of information available to anyone at the click of a button and AI technology filtering through almost every area of research one can imagine, it appears unavoidable that AI will be a part of the global reality from this point on and inevitable that it will play a key component of our evolution.

THE TRUTH ABOUT TRUTH
How do we know if something is truth? I grew up learning in a science class that the Earth revolved around the sun with other planets, round and round and round in a stationary circle. We now know that couldn’t be further from the truth! Our solar system actually orbits around the center of the Milky Way Galaxy and we are moving at an average velocity of 828,000 km/hr. But even at that high rate, it still takes us about 230 million years to make one complete orbit around the Milky Way! Whaaaat? DOES THE SUN HAVE A MIND?
Rupert Sheldrake, PhD, is a biologist and author of ninety technical papers and eight books, including Science Set Free, and the co-author of six books and is best known for his hypothesis of morphic resonance, which suggests the existence of a memory inherent in nature. Sheldrake weaves his astronomical research with his understanding about the sun and consciousness in an in-spirited way that ignites the mind to wonder.
In his presentation Is the Sun Conscious? Sheldrake states that the Sun has electromagnetic fields, 11 year sun spot cycles of coronal temperatures and solar winds that effect our atmosphere due to Coronal Mass Ejections and Solar Flares that emit charged pulses of particles. The entire polarity of the Sun flips regularly and each time it does they are different strengths and angles that express highly differentiated activity from which NASA makes atmospheric forecasts.
Sheldrake also points out that some cultures pray to the Sun daily as if it is aware of their requests and concerns. Is this Galactic thought transference? How does the Sun decide when to do the things it does? Is it conscious? Is the galaxy conscious? And does the sun communicate to us and the stars?
What we can see in these brief examples is that there is a reality that is distinct from our beliefs about it. Things are or are not a certain way whether we believe it or not. When we use the word truth or true, we are saying that what we believe or say about reality actually aligns with reality.
