RADICAL CHANGE TO THE EXISTING _______________
This is the definition I found of DISRUPTION. Fill in the blank with just about anything and it will describe the state of things happening all over the world. In fact it will most likely describe the internal state of the majority of people in the world right now, if not because of a direct trauma to them, but because of some connection we have to one another, and/or all of life on the planet that is so deeply suffering right now.
As I reviewed the back end of my website today, I realized I completely missed sending an August News post! I looked at the page all set up and ready to go, and I apparently I never hit SEND! Talk about DISRUPTION. It has been a theme for me since moving to Oregon a year ago along with a LOT of letting go.
Last month I had a unexpected loss of a dear aunt of mine (I was the flower girl in her wedding) that struck me deeply one day. I wailed and felt the impact of how impermanent life is. And currently I am riding the waves of the heart wrenching news about hurricane Helene wiping out Asheville NC and dozens of surrounding small towns as it made landfall. It was and is catastrophic. So much loss of life in every form.
Thankfully I had a cranial sacral session booked last week, but to my surprise as soon as I checked in with the practitioner I burst into tears. Once I settled down and he started to work on me, I felt as if a knife was being plunged into my solar plexus. When I asked what on earth those points were all about, he said SHOCK!
I am speechless at this point to share any words of wisdom, but did not want to miss another NEWS post. I have already taken a couple of months off from recording my YouTube readings to give myself space around moving a second time once I arrived in Oregon. What I will offer is the reflection of a very wise astrologer, Pam Gregory, with the hopes that it will inspire you in some way to have a greater understanding of the state of the world right now.
